Older works of various mediums from sketchbooks spanning more than a decade. Hidden gems and vulnerable sharing of things I don’t necessarily like that much. Wanting to expose more of what artists likely do and make behind the scenes of the “finished” pieces they are known for or are truly proud of. It takes a lot of practice and trying things and exploring.

Inspirations and motivations for drawing and painting happen when I am in different states and moods, it is not a super streamlined habit and process for me. The habit is that I turn to creating visual things as a way to regulate, release, wonder deeper at life, reflect, and play!

fineliner + pencil crayon - the shell design was inspired by ancient Indian water wells after travelling there in 2016. There was a star tortoise at a cafe that begged for fruit by climbing up the small bench we sat upon that looked like this!
